| In recent years, young people of color have been facing increasing
harassment and outright violence at the hands of police and privatre security
guards in Toronto's lower-income neighborhoods.
On March 12, 2000, residents of one such neighborhood (St. Jamestown, located in the eastern downtown area of Toronto) said 'no!' to this continued violence. |
